Amy’s mission is to support others in living their most authentic, embodied, and connected lives outside of survival mode. Amy Williams, MA is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Yoga Teacher specializing in Trauma and Somatic Therapy. She is the founder of Felt Sense Psychotherapy, a private practice based in Milford, Massachusetts. Amy offers Somatic Experiencing at the Intermediate Level, supporting individuals with somatic nervous system healing through trauma resolution.
With a background in yoga for emotional health and healing, Amy facilitates monthly virtual Trauma-Sensitive Yoga & Somatics classes and integrates yoga tools and techniques into her work as a mental health therapist. She is passionate about helping women regulate their nervous systems, discharge stored survival stress, and increase capacity for pleasure though somatic, body-first practices.
Amy believes that empowering you with the knowledge and tools to understand your nervous system is essential to healing. More than anything, her direct work with clients has taught her that healing and change must occur in both the body and the mind. While each body, mind, and nervous system are unique, Amy’s work is driven by our shared, inherent capacity for healing and balance.
