True healing happens when you

get out of your head and into your body.

Somatic healing is a holistic approach to healing that focuses on the interconnectedness of the mind and body. It acknowledges that emotional, psychological, and physical well-being are deeply intertwined, and therefore, to achieve healing, one must address all aspects of the self.

The term "somatic" refers to the body and bodily sensations. Somatic healing practices often involve becoming more attuned to bodily sensations, movements, and patterns as a means of accessing and processing emotions, traumas, and stressors that may be stored in the body.

An important focus of somatic work is understanding and embodying the language of the nervous system as a way to heal from chronic stress and trauma.

By cultivating awareness of bodily sensations and using various body-first techniques such as breathwork, yoga, somatic movement, and mindfulness practices, individuals can release tension, resolve emotional blockages, and promote healing on multiple levels.

Somatic healing approaches are commonly used in psychotherapy, trauma therapy, and alternative medicine modalities. They can be beneficial for individuals seeking relief from physical ailments, chronic pain, trauma-related symptoms, stress, anxiety, and depression, among other issues. Somatic healing emphasizes the importance of listening to the wisdom of the body and using its innate capacity for healing and self-regulation.
